Los próximos días 4 y 5 de diciembre, tendrán lugar la exposición y el seminario titulados «Picasso and his support to the spanish exiled artists. Guernica in Stockholm and swedish solidarity art», organizados por la Embajada de España en Suecia.
Allí se darán encuentro investigadores de calado internacional cuyas aportaciones girarán entorno a las relaciones entre arte y política, la actividad artística de los y las exiliadas españoles o la solidaridad mostrada por el panorama artístico sueco para con la República española. Las sedes del evento serán el Instituto Cervantes de Estocolmo y el Waldemarsudde Museum.
Miguel Cabañas Bravo, investigador principal de nuestro proyecto de investigación, colaborará con esta iniciativa con su contribución titulada “Picasso, and his support to the Spanish exiled artist”.

Exhibition of different pieces from private collections, Association 24-Aout-1944 Paris, Gaussot family, Andersson family, Foundation Liss Eriksson, SAC Archives. Pieces regarding the situation of the Spanish artists at the end of the Spanish civil war, in concentration camps in France, as Baltasar Lobo. Pictures taken by Philippe Gaussot, French photographer and pieces related to exile and solidarity, as information on the tour of Guernica in Stockholm.
